Trouble sending email using direct method

If you are having trouble sending bulk email messages such as debtor statements the likely cause is your SMTP server.

(This article assumes that all related system parameters are setup correctly.)

Email is sent to this server for forwarding onto the recipient. Some servers will not allow applications to send mail to them for forwarding.

In order to get around this we suggest you look at using a third party service specifically for sending your bulk emails.
