Visual FoxPro (VFP.EXE) crashes on new MS Windows 10 workstation

The EzyWine application may crash at startup on new MS Windows 8 or 8.1 workstations or laptops. Newer workstations and laptops tend to have touch screen functionality which require additional updates to the operating system to work with older applications such as MS Visual Foxpro (VFP.EXE).

The solution is to download and install Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Common Controls on the workstation or laptop where the error is occurring.
